USING THE POWER RUNNER TO DEVELOP MAXIMUM STRENGTH

  1. Stand outside of machine with the inside foot on pedal strapped in firmly.
  2. The outside leg is ground base and positioned slightly behind the foot attached to the pedal.
  3. Inside shoulder is positioned firmly against shoulder pad.
  4. Lever arm action should be smooth and controlled, never bounced.
  5. Always control lever arm during the eccentric phase of the movement.
  6. Weight should be adjusted to accommodate a 3 – 6 rep scheme with 3 – 5 sets utilized. The last rep should be a challenge for the athlete to perform.
