USING THE POWER RUNNER TO DEVELOP MAXIMUM STRENGTH
- Stand outside of machine with the inside foot on pedal strapped in firmly.
- The outside leg is ground base and positioned slightly behind the foot attached to the pedal.
- Inside shoulder is positioned firmly against shoulder pad.
- Lever arm action should be smooth and controlled, never bounced.
- Always control lever arm during the eccentric phase of the movement.
- Weight should be adjusted to accommodate a 3 – 6 rep scheme with 3 – 5 sets utilized. The last rep should be a challenge for the athlete to perform.
