For
hamstring, knee, and glute injuries:
|
 |
- The user may need to adjust the shoulder pad to its full angle, depending
on the severity of the injury.
- A trainer should assist the athlete by pushing the lever action back
so the athlete can secure the foot and begin the exercise.
- When exiting the machine, a trainer should continue to “spot” the
lever for the athlete.
|
Key points to remember: |
-
The angle to which the shoulder pad is adjusted will be determined
by the athlete's range of motion.
-
When using the POWER RUNNER for rehabilitation purposes, a spotter
should be used at all times, and workouts should be monitored by
a trainer or therapist.
-
For best results, begin with no resistance and gradually increase the
weight.
